New DSES Membership System

The Deep Space Exploration Society is implementing a membership management system. It is called HamClubOnline (HCOL). This is a proven and secure membership system that provides benefits both to members and the officers involved with managing the organization. All DSES members will have an account in the system for access to membership features. Note that you don’t need to be a radio amateur to have an account in the system.

For existing DSES members, we will be loading members into the system starting on December 29th. Once your information has been entered, you will receive a personalized welcome email message (from @hamclubonline.net) with instructions on how to log into the system.

You will also receive an automatic message inviting you to join the DSES Groups.io email reflector. If you have already joined, you can ignore this message, otherwise we encourage you to complete the signup process so that you can keep up with the real time activities of the organization.

Membership benefits include easy renewal of your membership (payment via PayPal), access to the club roster, and other useful features. You will also receive a membership renewal notice 30 days before your membership expires – with a direct link to update your membership. Once the system is fully implemented, communications to all active organization members will be sent from this system.

You will still be able to renew your membership by sending a check or making a cash payment if that is your preference. Information will be posted on the DSES website on how to renew your membership.

Note to members that may already have a HamClubOnline account. If this account is under the same email that you have provided DSES, then you should see the DSES option once you log into the system.

If you have any questions about the new system, please email them to information@dses.science.
